Kathy Steckel - April 17, 2025: North Fork EMS - Kathy Steckel, chief of the North Fork EMS spoke to Rotary this week, tracing its development from volunteer beginnings in 1969, to membership organization in 2014 and then a taxing district in 2018 to the present. They cover an area of 1600 sq miles, generally from Payne Siding to McClure and Kebler passes. Three ambulances are available, attended by an EMS and with Paramedics as needed.
