Harrison Topp - January 8, 2026 - The Business of Fruit Growing - Local farmer and businessman Harrison Topp spoke to Rotarians this week about fruit growing and his family’s operation. We learned that it takes a lot of savvy to participate in this complicated activity. Land in a unique location with fertile soil, quality water, good drainage, favorable air flow and the right variety of trees are essential ingredients. “Topp Fruits” is their company that owns three orchards and leases two more. They provide a complete service at each farm including pruning, cultivating, thinning, picking, processing, packing and shipping. |
