Christi Gubser - December 11, 2025: North Fork School of Integrated Studies - Rotarians gained insights about the program at North Fork School of Integrated Studies this week from its principal Christi Gubser. The general theme there is for the students to learn by doing as opposed technology-based presentation. Less screen time and more hands-on involvement is the theme. Generally, a teacher stays with a class for the first few years of education. Value is placed on art, music, movement, handwork, language, & theatre. They focus on and celebrate the beauty of children. |
