Cassandra Shenk - April 2, 2026 - Grange - This week Cassandra Shenk presented a program about Grange to our Rotary members. Grange is a national organization founded in 1867 to enhance the lives of people living in rural communities. A local chapter was founded in 1935. Members later built a building at the entrance to Grange Road in Paonia. Grange thrives today with programs such as music circles, pie contests and other youth activities. Their presence in Paonia’s 4th of July parade is usually a delight with a float created by its junior members. |
