Amy Hebert - February 27, 2025: The Exchange Student Experience. - This week Rotarians had an informal conversation about the exchange student experience with Amy Hebert. social studies teacher at Paonia K8. Amy had been an exchange student to Denmark as part of her high school experience, then later in life to Shang-Hai with an adult group. These journeys eventually led to employment with our State Department in China and other countries. Now sharing her experiences as a teacher, she recently hosted Eszter Pala, our Rotary exchange student, who presented a talk on her native Hungary. |
